1 week

The nurses have been fussing up a storm over Watts today, tucking fresh jungle blankets under his swollen body and making sure to coordinate his pillowcase with matching monkeys. He's scored numerous blankets from the nurses so far, proving he's a heart-breaker even when he's asleep.

He is fighting this infection and the chemo is killing all those leukemia cells, all while he sleeps.
Tonight and tomorrow are about maintenance too, no new tests or treatment, just healing and maintaining.

It's been a week since he first got sick. That's crazy to think about.

Piper also seems to be adjusting slowly to her new normal. Yesterday was a hard day but today there were no tears or tantrums with us, only sweet interactions.

So, so thankful for a news-free day.

WE ARE ALL PRAYING FOR TEARS OF JOY...MUCH LOVE, TRACEY...xo
